Merfyn Jones is a prolific builder of railway liveried vehicles. Shown here are some of the models he has produced using the John Day range, including ones he has adapted.
Having worked for British Railways from 1978 to 1996, before working for the maintenance contractor Jarvis PLC, he spent the subsequent years driving vans and small lorries until his retirement in 2010. He has an intimate knowledge of BR road vehicles, and he is the first one I turn to for information.
